INGREDIENTS
 
4 pkgs of Fresh GourmetŪ Santa Fe Style Tortilla Strips
1 1/2 lbs ground beef or turkey
1 tsp ground red pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp hot sauce
2 lbs bagged salad
2 chopped/cubed tomatoes
1 medium chopped onion
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 chopped green pepper
8-10 oz Thousand Island dressing



  DIRECTIONS
 
Cook ground meat in a skillet on medium heat until brown and no longer pink.

Season with red pepper, garlic salt and hot sauce. Allow to cool slightly.

Combine meat mixture with bagged salad, 3 bags of Fresh GourmetŪ Santa Fe Style Tortilla Strips, tomatoes, onions, cheddar cheese and green pepper.

Chill (refrigerate) salad prior to serving for at least 30-45 mins.

Prior to serving, mix in Thousand Island dressing and garnish with remaining bag of Fresh GourmetŪ Santa Fe Style Tortilla Strips.

Simple to make and provides a unique salad for any event.
