"tiny bites" Jungle Salad
healthy foods begin with Fresh Gourmet
Ingredients: 1 pkg of your favorite prepared salad mix 1 cup Nature Sweet Vine Tomatoes 1/2 cup sliced cucumber 2 hard cooked eggs, peeled 1 cup turkey or ham (from deli counter) 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup Fresh Gourmet® "tiny bites" cheesy croutons 1 cup ranch dressing
Tools: Colander Cutting board Vegetable peeler Chef's knife Measuring cups Salad tongs Large serving bowl
Preparation: Before you start, you need to wash your hands thoroughly. Hard cook the 2 eggs for 12 minutes. Let them stand at room temperature 15 minutes.
1. Wash tomatoes and remove from vine. Place in colander to dry.
2. Wash and peel cucumber. On cutting board, cut in half and then slice thinly until you have 1/2 cup.
3. Peel hard cooked eggs. On cutting board, slice lengthwise, then chop into small pieces.
4. On cutting board, cut turkey or ham into strips.
5. Place salad mix into salad bowl, and place measured cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, meat, eggs and croutons on top.
6. Measure salad dressing and pour over salad.
7. With tongs, lightly toss the delicious jungle salad. Enjoy!
