Burrito Bowl with Savory Southwest Crunch

Yield: 4 bowls | Prep time: 20 minutes


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey

  • 1, 1oz. packet taco seasoning

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 cup mexican rice, cooked

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ½ cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 jalapeno sliced

  • 4 Tablespoons sour cream

  • ¼ cup guacamole

  • ¼ cup red and green onions, finely diced

  • Fresh Gourmet® Savory Southwest Topper and lime wedges for garnish.


In a large rimmed skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat and cook the ground meat until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Add water and taco seasoning and cook until the water is absorbed and the sauce has thickened.

Divide the rice, tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeno, sour cream, guacamole, onions, Fresh Gourmet® Savory Southwest Topper and lime wedges into 4 bowls or meal prep containers.

Enjoy right away or as leftovers the next day.
